Bloggers and activists were in KKB town as early as 2.00am!
Our meeting point was the DAP centre at No.31 Jalan Kamaruddin in Kuala Kubu Bharu. The roads in town were lined with food stalls and souvenir stalls. One of the food stall owner informed us that many of them set-up at night on the eve of nomination as they were not issued permits by the authorities. Those who set up were also scorned by certain parties aligned to the BN coalition.

A lot of familiar faces and children and toddlers even came out to show support. The town was cordoned off by police cones and as expected heavy police machinery (which kept out of sight). A helicopter equipped with camera circled non-stop over the town – did it served any useful purpose other than to burn fuel and maybe portrayed an act of intimidation against the supporters of PR coalition?
Datuk Zaid Ibrahim safely handed in his nomination papers.
